Need recs for metro accessible dentists that take insurance

I have been seeing Dr. Donald Vafides (1145 19th St NW) for three years now and like him and his staff. Clean, modern office, on time, no billing hassles. I haven't needed anything beyond cleanings, though. Usually his hygienist does the actual cleaning, then Dr. Vafides checks on my old fillings and any potential trouble spots. I like that he doesn't try to upsell me - my old dentist was always pushing whitening, Invisalign, prescription toothpaste, etc.
My insurance is MD IPA federal, but I believe he works with other plans as well. The office is about halfway between the south exit of Dupont Circle and Farragut North.

I don't live in DC anymore but when I did, I loved Dr. Brad Schneiderman on 19th street NW, just south of Dupont Circle. He took my dental insurance, but can't remember now what kind I had.

My friend Dr. John Tsaknis has two offices - one in Logan, one in Penn Quarter - that are metro-accessible. He's a nice guy and some of my friends go to him. He takes insurance, but I think he only takes certain insurances at Penn Quarter, and more choices at the Logan office. (it's easier administratively, plus the PQ office has higher overhead.)
