| Has anyone had a good or great experience with her? I'm looking to see her for PPD. Did you get good results? If not, is there someone else you recommend? |

I highly, highly recommend her! She is simply, in my opinion, the best. I have been seeing her for PPD as well, she has made such a big difference in my life. As my son turned 6 months, and I look back to where I was when I started seeing her when DS was 6 weeks, I am a different person, thanks in large part to Benta.
She co-leads the PPD support group in Fairfax. She suffered from PPD herself 20+ years ago, so she has personal insight. Go see her! I cannot say anything else. Good luck to you! Hugs! |
| Thanks, PP. I was wondering how often you see her? Once a week or twice a month? |
I see her every week- usually, though I travel a fair amount so it doesn't really work out to every week. Many clients have a regular time, but I don't. However, it would be totally up to you and your needs. Every time, at the end of the session she asks me: should we meet next week or do the week after? I used to think are you crazy? You think I'm well enough to come every 2 weeks? But she has always believed in me, which helps me believe in myself

| I second the above post. Benta is great. I did both her group and one-on-one therapy. very worth it. I went once a week at first, then spaced it out some more. |

I have to third the recommendation. She is amazing: compassionate, insightful, experienced. You will be in good hands.
Good wishes for you during this time! I know how it is. |
| Thanks, Ladies! I am hoping she can help me. I'm having more PPA than PPD but it feels like it is never going to go away! Damn hormones. |
