Anyone love their system? I've outgrown my jewelry box and need to expand my storage capacity. It would be nice if my accessories weren't in such disarray, so I could see what I have. |
Stop buying crap. Problem solved! |
I saw organzing trays at the Container Store. I think I'm just going to upgrade to a bigger jewelry stand. |
I got a jewelry armoire. I got mine from target and I know I paid about $75, but I'm not seeing any that cheap right now on their website. I keep it on the dresser top--it has legs, but I never attached them. The one I have has 4 drawers, 2 with small compartments inside, plus a flip top with ring holders, and doors on the sides with hooks for necklaces. |
I have one small box on the dresser for the stuff I wear frequently, and earrings. Everything else is store in plastic bags (can't remember where I got them) in wooden organizing trays (from defunct Hold Everything). |
OP here, thanks for the ideas and advice! |
I got one of these:

For my cheap, everyday necklaces I use command hooks. I put up a few in my closet so they're hidden from guests and I put my necklaces and bracelets on those.
I have a jewelry tree for my earrings. Nicer jewelry that I don't wear as often is put away neatly in boxes. |
I have a lot of costume necklaces and bracelets - I bought an elfa tie rack that mounts on the inside of my closet door from the Container Store and hand them all there - works like a charm. |
Container store has clear trays with with little compartment inserts that I have stacked in the top drawer of my dresser. |
