She may not have a choice. You want to work - you have to take the slots given you. As I said in the other thread, if she was willing to move - a lot more opportunities for flexible slots and great networks would open up to her. But she stayed - probably for her kids, since her husband's in SC its not like she stayed here for him.

No way someone goes from the DC market to the market in another state unless it's NY or CA and even then, one of the larger city news orgs. DC to SC is a big-ass downgrade for someone at her stage in her career. She'd be a fool to do that.

The flow is: small town > larger town, usually capital, in that state > bigger state market like phoenix/atlanta/boston/houston > mid-range markets like philly/dc/dallas > the big 3 of ny/los angeles/chicago > national news

I don't see how her situation is any different than the hundreds of men and women who commute to Boston/NYC and live there through the week and only come home on the weekends.

What? I don’t know anyone with a family based here who works in either of those cities. Baltimore, yes. Philadelphia, also yes.

But NYC and Boston? No. People move to the suburbs of those areas when they take the jobs.

Has anyone caught her on air? I always thought she was sophisticated and classy. She is so goofy on Fox! Goofy and immature, promoting her weird podcast, and the set looks awful. I'm so surprised by the change.

I didn’t know she landed there until I saw her on air yesterday. Man do I love her! Her bubbly personality is more Fox than NBC.

I follow her and she definitely started acting more goofy once she left NBC. Maybe this is the real her. I prefer the NBC version. The rest of the crew at the 4 o'clock hour are pretty bad too.

Yes. She shouldn't put her kids out there so much. They deserve privacy and to make their own social media decisions when they are older.

What has Angie done to her face? Way too much Botox. She’s only able to move her bottom jaw. The rest of her face is frozen. She’s far too young for such much.

Horrible how she exploits her children. Many articles now on children who grew up with their parents exploiting them on social media and now their digital footprint is everywhere and they have zero control over it.
