I wonder if the CIA or the Washington Post investigative journalist team reads DCUM for tips -- or if they think this kind of chatter is silly. |

I would add that the law firm Trump used to show he didn't have any conflicts of interest -- Morgan Lewis -- was Russia Law Firm of the Year 2016. |
Twitter is saying this golfer tweeted that he was injured and couldn't compete in some golf contest.disclsimer-I know nothing about golf, |

The allegations that Russia had compromising info on Trump were first reported on by David Corn in Mother Jones in October. The NYT reported on it in January completely acting as though they hadn't missed the boat months earlier. I should be surprised, but I'm not, that the cutting edge of investigative reporting on the Russia story may be on Twitter, through @louisemensch, @khanoisseur, and some others. The NYT and to a slightly lesser extent the WashPo have been slow on the uptake, or maybe they're just really distractible. |
Slate had a long piece about Trump's campaign in communication in a very specific way; that was in October. |
I feel like I might gag if I have to hear "winter White House" one more time. Trump's tacky ass Florida resort is hardly a White House. That he and his wife choose not to truly live in the White House where EVERY other president and First Lady have lived says a lot about his intentions. It's not a White House just because he's staying there. The White House is the White House. He doesn't want to do any of the things Presidents of the US do, becauyhe doesmt wMt to BE the preside. He wants to run the show unilaterally, which is called a dictatorship. He has hired a right hand man who has made no secret of his wish to destroy the US democracy. People are not seeing what's happening right before our eyes, and won't admit this is what it is until it's too late to do anything about it. This is how dictatorships begin, every time. |
From the DailyKos link, they never lived in it and it's slated for demolition. Can you imagine just buying a $95 million house and never living it? |
Good grief. Find something else to rant about. Roosevelt had a "Winter White House" in Warm Springs, GA. This is a term that has been around for a long, long time. And, FWIW. "Summer White House" another term used quite a bit. Back in the day, it would be so hot in Washington that many presidents would leave for the summer. |
The same law firm that vetted HRC's VP choices? That law firm? |
Roosevelt had that for the purposes of treating his polio; there was a camp there and warm springs to soothe contracting muscles. Not exactly the same thing as Orange Fatty just wanting to be at home. |
How long ago was Roosevelt our President? And it is 2017, we have heat and air conditioning now. |
I don't think they think it's completely silly. I follow a number of mainstream journalists who retweet Adam Khan and Mensch sometimes. |
Interesting. Any other sources? |
