There is constant spam and sock puppeting on behalf of Goddard School. I would not trust these folks with my dog, let alone a child. I have repeatedly attempted to stop their spam, even blocking the word "Goddard". In response, the spammers result to tricks such as "G/oddard School".

Same thing here Jeff. Many schools get free publicity on this site. You just don't like this one for some reason. Again, it's your site so you can do what you want, but it doesn't add any wait to your premise.

Be very careful about St. James. I loved the school when my kid joined them three years ago. Today is her last day and I cannot wait to leave. All the good teachers have left for one reason or another, the focus on academics has shifted (they did almost none this summer, making for a very expensive daycare), and I have not been happy at all with some of the new supposed "teachers" they have brought in. I am not alone in that. Plus, behavior issues of some kids (in some cases, very serious) have gone ignored by administration. If I were looking to enroll today, move on and keep looking.

Our kids went to the Audubon Nature Preschool and we all loved it. Really cannot say enough great things about the school's wonderful warm atmosphere and staff - and the fact my kids explored 40 acres in all types of weather! Good luck in your search!

I recommend SPRING VALLEY MONTESSORI ACADEMY. It's not too far from Glen Echo. Not sure if they have openings. but you can email the school info@springvalleymontessoriacademy.org.
My children went there and loved the experience. It is not religious and has a nice balance of Montessori mixed with play based. Good Luck!
