What product to use on your hair before blowdrying?

Aveda Smooth Infusion.

I also use It's a 10. My hair is fine textured, so I just spray a couple of squirts into my hand and then distribute this onto my hair. It is a great product for me. I do sometimes use Argan Oil, but I don't put this on my wet hair. I tend to use a tiny amount of the oil on my hair after bliow drying if I find my hair is a little staticky or frizzy.

My hairdresser was pushing "It's a 10" which I stupidly bought from her. One of the first ingredients is alcohol, which is a no-no on hair, especially longer, older, dry hair. I use argan oil.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I picked up a bottle of PM Skinny Serum. Good stuff! Even my son who barely notices if I do anything to my hair said that he wanted to touch it because it looked smooth

I use heat protectant plus argon oil. My stylist said argon oil is not a heat protectant. I have thick curly hair.

Anyone have a recommendation if you have straight thinish longish hair?

Mystic Oil. Its lighter weight than straight up Argan Oil.

Morrocan oil

Something for volume:

Moroccanoil Root Boost (my favorite)
Aveda Volumizing Tonic
Tigi Catwalk Root Boost
Any volume mousse (just a bit at the roots)

^Would add the volume product, not also use for shine/heat protection

I have a bunch I rotate through. Wella, Unite, Living Proof, K18, Amica, Morrocan Oil, and Olaplex. Depends on what I feel my hair needs that particular wash/blow out day. I also only wash and blow dry my hair 2-3x a week, per my stylist's rec. My hair has a lot of blonde/ashy highlights in it though.

I rotate through a few products, but have used Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream and Alfaparf Semi Di Lino for years. Neither weigh down my hair.

Olaplex #9 serum. Not sure what it does but I do like it. Some sort of protector
