I don't understand why you keep saying they were crazy people. YOU flipped them off. I'm sure you appeared to be crazy to them. And they probably just wanted to scare you and to make you think twice about doing it again. Which you are. Now you just seem off balanced. She's not going to find out where you live and come in and kill you

I can't believe people are giving OP a hard time. Someone cut her off. Don't know the circumstances, but she could have been in real danger. Offering a middle finger isn't that big a deal and certainly shouldn't result in her being followed and feeling further threatened.

I report bad drivers to the cops all the time... anonymous letter listing the license plate, driver's appearance and what they did wrong.

I ask my cop friend to look up plates sometimes. I had a guy creep past my house while I walked in, loop back, and park and sit outside my house for about an hour. I called my friend and asked if I should be concerned. He came and dealt with it.
