OP here. My guess is that what confused Rove is that Palin lives in Juneau now (because it's the capital, but it's also the second largest city). He probably thought that's where she was mayor. How Wasilly of him!

BTW, here's another Palin-drome: Harass Sarah. But please do not take that as a suggestion, I just like palindromes. Anagrams, too: Ah, nail rasp; Hair's a plan; A plain rash. And puns as well: I look forward to seeing Sarah palin' next to Biden (that's wishful thinkin', I admit).

I don't know about with the older kids, but I'm pretty sure that I read that her husband took a leave of absence from his job and is staying home now.
