The aquamarine must be a very pretty color! |
Of course, but DH and DC are surely not your possessions? |
A diamond ring which contains my mother's solitaire - I had it re-set as a "right-hand" ring. |
I have two beautiful rosaries blessed by Pope John Paul II. They were given to my kids when they were baptised. I have two blessed by Benedict immediately following his Ordination as Pope but those aren't as important despite the fact they were also gifts from the same person.
I would also want to grab the children's birth certificates. They are foreign born and it would be a nightmare to get replacements. |
My hairbrush. I have had it for over 20 years and it's made every move I've made and I haven't found another like it. |
Nothing, seriously. All things are replaceable. |
DH's sex drive and capabilities. |
my family photos
|
A very small, exquisite gouache painting in the school of John Singer Sargent. I inherited it from my great aunt, who was a baroness. |
My cat. |
Aside from the people and animals I love, my precious heirlooms. The things you cannot replace. A very big old Swedish Bible - and we're agnostic. Very old photos of folks getting off the boat, old lace, my grandmother's old dresses, etc... |
my photo albums.

letters - yes, actual letters - I have received over the years (thought sadly, now that everyone emails instead of writing letters, I have precious little new ones since about 1997). |
My vagina |
A college diploma for one of my ancestors, over 110 years old. |
