Seriously when you have a former pot head in your family that can't form sentences teaches you to stay away from that stuff.

Right. I knew a guy who was an alcoholic. That's why we should outlaw beer and wine.

Exactly. They had to be forcibly struck down by a very conservative Supreme Court since Virginians couldn't bring themselves to repeal the law themselves. Pathetic.

I read this article last weekend and loved it. I had no idea so many folks in the area used marijuana for recreational purposes.

Ditto. My SIL's mother smoked waay too much pot in the 60s to the point where she is now "Special Needs" status.

But that's the thing....are they really? Or, is it just that the article made it seem like everyone in town was "doing it." There was a study awhile back stating that teenagers' perceptions of people "doing it" (drugs or sex if you will) were actually higher than reality. So, of course, if the reporter is in a room full of people smoking pot, then likely most everyone they know are doing it.

Just horny it seems. Though he might have to get his wife high in order for her to let traffic on the "Hershey Highway".

Eating a pot brownie twice a month isn't going to destroy your brain. Also, I'm guessing the SIL's mother was doing a lot more than smoking weed.

Anyway, I see your point and understand your position, but it's apples and oranges.

I know. Dude, if you want to sell it to your wife, you have to do better than "Hershey freakin' Highway." C'mon.

How about the 8th graders in Loudoun county that brought pot brownies to school! Gee, you kind of expect that off school grounds maybe in high school or college, but I was kind of shocked that it happened in middle school.

Try to keep up: we've already established that "legal" does not correlate to "moral" (e.g. sodomy laws).

What else will you teach your kids that is OK to do against the law?

I prefer Meth. It keeps me skinny and gives me lots of energy. Pot is for boring people.
