Infertility Support and Discussion
|
Their website no longer references National Infertility Week http://www.peta.org/features/win-a-vasectomy-from-peta.aspx I think their point was to link overpopulation and the need to have your pet spayed/neutered. The eligible man must have a pet "fixed" sometime between the end of march and the end of april.
I don't always agree with what PETA does, but I donate to them because I believe that their willingness to be radical on issues others aren't is really important for animal welfare. It's like Greenpeace in the environmental world. I am both a PETA donor and infertile. I agree the link to NIFW was distasteful, but I appreciate them correcting their promotion and still support them. |
| I'm a PETA supporter too and this campaign flabbergasts me. "Human overpopulation is crowding out animal life on the planet..." A bit insensitive I would agree. Sometimes PETA is so stupid and thoughtless and can't seem to get their message straight. Totally disappointing. |
