Mom's Day is coming up

I just order it for my 4 brothers and add a 10% fee for my services. Then I buy myself a bottle of wine and enjoy.

Men are not complicated they are just ignorant. They would gladly each venmo me 10 extra $$ to not worry about the present.

If your brothers are also cheap just do a gift on your own next year.

I should start doing this. I love my mom enough to want her to feel remembered on special days but man…I still remember being the one to go get the group birthday gift for my mom when I had a tiny newborn one year. My dad actually gave my brothers a hard time about it and they were better for a while…

We do a meal and a nice potted outdoor flower arrange from garden store. Sometimes at a restaurant but usually one of us hosts. Nothing elaborate. The point is to be together. We are fortunate that everyone involved can buy their own “stuff” so the gift is not important.
