I cannot with these weird tradwife tiktokers.

Agree OP. I don’t have TikTok but they are ruining FB with the “reels.” I also don’t care about sourdough, homeschooling, RV life, dressing my kids in mauve, white/black SUV moms, or many other things FB apparently thinks I do. Does anyone know how to change the algorithm?

If you watch it and interact with the content, your apps will show you more of it. Scroll on by without watching and start interacting more with like, cat videos and stand up comedy clips. I never see that stuff. I don’t go on TT through but I’m on IG and YouTube more than I probably should be.

This is the new variation on the feminine mystique. In the 1950s, everyone convinced women that they needed to spend inordinate time on cleaning their house. It was a good way to keep women out of the labor force and absorb their energies. Over the last several decades, immigration policy has led to fairly cheap housecleaning labor plus we have stufff like roomba and swiffer, so we need something new to distract women. Make your own paper and cereal and homeschool your kids is the new housecleaning .

And I’m the kind of person that honestly likes to make stuff from scratch.

Is someone forcing you to watch this?

Well then, you don’t have to wait for the trend die, do you? Just walk on by. Giddy up.

Geez people, its a discussion board. If you don't like discussing things (like tradwives or whatever) this might not be the place for you. Constantly telling people their topics are stupid seems like an odd use of your time.

This ^^. They are suffocating under the weight of misogyny, but either don't know it or aren't willing to admit it and do something about it. And for some bizarre reason they respond by making homemade paper with ^%$*ing dried flowers or some $^%# in it.

Worst part is if I don't take her homemade paper to work, my wife has a fit. It plays hell with our printer at the office.

Wannabe tradwife begging for dirt-cheap RENTAL to start up her farm so her home-schooled girls can learn to be tradwives themselves

Wow. Lol. That is off the hook.

Their credit scores are below 600 and they "kennel" their cat when they aren't home? This is a great laugh.

I'm like the PP who is against waste. The milk I bought went sour before the sell by date, so I made yogurt with it. I make chicken stock with leftover bones and vegetable scraps. But I don't buy ingredients for these purposes, just being thrifty. I don't tell people or post that I do this since I am sure it's irritating.

^This is correct. You are confusing genres, although there is overlap.

Lots of tradwives are just SAH wives and mothers who have dinner on the table at 6, stay fit, and are not cadaverous lays. Most are not into homemade paper, canning beans, and all that BS. That's a separate thing.

not on tiktok they're not.

they all have some insanely extreme version of perfection they are trying to project and it's sooo toxic.

OP are you referring to Nara Smith. I'm fascinated by her life. She and her husband are both models. They got married 4 years ago, and they have three children. She's 22 and he's 25. He has another child from a former relationship. She started modeling at age 14. Her husband, Lucky, started modeling at age 10. He's been in all the magazines; Vogue, GQ, Elle, etc. He's done runway work for all the big names, Balmain, Tom Ford, Versace, etc. They met through modeling while they were both living in LA. They now live in Michigan. Their kids' names are Rumble Honey, Whimsy Lou, and Slim Easy. Lucky's older child is Gravity Blue. He is from Utah and grew up LDS. She was born in South Africa but grew up in Germany.
