This is how it starts making it illegal for women to travel out of state to get abortions.

How much you want to bet he is a domestic abuser? Thank god the woman broke free of him.

Imagine a man raping someone and then suing to prevent her from getting an abortion. This is the world Republicans want.

“Fathers of aborted fetuses can sue for wrongful death in states with abortion bans, even if the abortion occurs out-of-state,” he wrote. “They can sue anyone who paid for the abortion, anyone who aided or abetted the travel, and anyone involved in the manufacture or distribution of abortion drugs.”

In the Davis case, Mitchell is attempting to depose the woman who had the abortion, along with several other people he writes may be “complicit” in the abortion. If deposed, they would be asked about others involved in the abortion, including any abortion funds or any other entities that provided financial support, according to court records. They would also have to provide all documentation relevant to the abortion.

Do you have evidence that the woman was a victim of domestic abuse or was raped?
Seems to me you are making huge assumptions.

so it's cool?

PP didn’t claim he was a domestic abuser or a rapist. She just said “imagine.” Like imagine a world in which Republicans weren’t all women-hating harridans.

This is what OP said....

"How much you want to bet he is a domestic abuser? Thank god the woman broke free of him.

I am asking OP for evidence of her accusations.

Do you know what "bet" means?

What kind of evidence is needed to show that the plaintiff is the father? How would it be gathered? Is it DNA? Something else?

Excellent question.

I would say the fact he’s trying to sue her over the abortion is per se evidence that he is a domestic abuser.

+1 the suit itself is abuse

From the article if you’d have bothered reading it: Duane [the woman’s lawyer] described the woman’s relationship with Davis as “toxic and harmful.”

The second sentence you quoted above asks us to think about the consequences of such laws. Such as a scenario where a rapist sues his victim prevent her from getting an abortion. You can count on that happening if we don’t do away with these lawsuits and horrible anti-abortion laws.

It’s telling that you so vehemently want to defend a man like this one in Texas who is harassing a woman for her private actions regarding her body. Do you identify with him somehow?

That MRA forced birther is really having difficulty with this one. And would probably ask what the woman was wearing, just to make sure he didn’t miss a chance to shame her.

What difference does it make? He’s suing her for getting an abortion. Do you support that? Do you support Trump’s desire to “monitor” pregnant women?

I’m not a lawyer, but I think the reporting when this law went into effect was that anyone could sue.

I think you might be overestimating the popularity of the GOP among women.

What evidence is there that it was his baby? Seems he would have to establish standing to sue.

It's so ironic how closely American Christians are in their attitudes towards women to the Muslim countries they like to look down on.

Texas law doesn’t need standing. Thanks to Trump stacking SCOTUS with billionaires backed judges.

Unfortunately Texas’s law makes it so anyone can sue even people not related to the woman or fetus.
