Think they’ll get $6mil?

Yes, something close to that +/-500k. It's big and pretty.

Swoon. Understated good taste.

I need a yard for 6 Million

No chance. Only boomers who "need" their 6,000 sqft would buy a house like this. The paradox is that boomers are too cheap to shell out that kind of $.

To me $5M would be a stretch. No doubt it’s beautiful, I just don’t see those kinds of premiums in those neighborhoods.

Drummond is considered the best and prettiest street in the neighborhood with a path at the bottom of the street that goes to Norwood park or can connect easily to Capital Crescent trail. I think this house will get close to asking price though it may take a while to find a buyer in that range.

I love that it includes a stage for home performances!

Pretty much the perfect home.

I guess I’m too poor to even know why this house is worth anywhere near $6M. There are a lot of houses on the market in the 5-10M range and they all look way better than this. Would assume 2-3 tops at first glance.

PP, you have no idea what you are talking about! You could not get half this house in that location for $2M!

Funny, the only reason I’m in the DMV is to become wealthy enough to move away from here. If the day ever came when I could afford a $6m house this would be the last place I’d choose to live.

LOL I just looked at the street view. Y’all are trolling right?

The street view is actually the view from the alley. Not the street.

I do love this street. It's a great location, for sure. It's right between Friendship Heights and downtown Bethesda, on a quiet dead-end street.

I have two friends who live on this street, and they are lovely people.

The house is beautiful.

The price still seems high to me.

This x100. $6M is retirement money. I don't understand why anyone would spend their $6M to live in a mosquito pit, sit in traffic on Wisconsin/Connecticut/River/Beltway, and have walkability only to a dying Friendship Heights.
