Seriously, though. Why not an upscale sundress?

Jeans and a nice top.

This is perfect and chic.

I totally would wear something like this and feel way overdressed for my reunion out west. I don't have a good answer, op, since I always do it wrong! I dress way more east coast preppy while everyone else is quite casual.

ohhh... great idea

I'm not sure people in rustic Montana are going to appreciate the Victoria Beckham baggy jeans look. And you really have to be rail thin for that to look good.

That is me. It is my go-to for most anything. It isn't about style, it's about looking put together without screaming look at my outfit.

This sounds kind of old. Coastal grandmother.

How about something like this? You can wear a little jean jacket if you think you'll be cold.

I love that look! I want a sleek leg as I'm pretty broad shouldered and big chested. Wanting to play that down.

Absolutely do no wear leggings!

I myself would wear Levi's and a snug black top, and cool shoes.

PP, I agree no ballcap to a reunion but your reasoning is very strange. Many women wear them to run errands, to gym, at beach/pool, etc. to not have to do hair.

I love the look, too, but not for an afternoon grill party in Montana.
