LOL they won't get 2.1. Maybe 1.8.

You can't get anything for $1.8 anymore.

Oh wait, sorry, it's only 8 minutes to Clarendon. The house is still butt.

You were actually closer the first time. It's nearly a mile, so 20 minutes is about right. Not that special of a location.

Like everyone else, I wasn’t expecting it to be this awful. This house won’t age well at all. From the outside, it looks like a cheap apartment building.

Inside, it looks quickly thrown together. That fireplace setup is awful. Nobody wants a sink and cooktop in the island. Bleh. I guess for the location that’s why it’s $2.5 and not $3+, but yuck.

We all deserve better than to look at this house on an evening stroll.

The counter in the primary bath looks like a mistake. They need to fix that.

I don't think that it will sell for too much less than the ask.

I am not sure what new construction has to do with it. It's a renovation, and a bad one. If you look at the photos there are even mismatched hardwood floors (one of the staircases inexplicably has a light floor stain). I don't think they can get over 2 but I would love to be wrong. I will def follow up on this one and I hope you are right!!!

Check the recently sold homes on Zillow using the price filters. You can get homes for 1.8M and less. Even in north Arlington.

Wow that is truly an awful house, ugly exterior, builder grade interior, tiny lot and backyard. No way is this crappy flip (I hope) getting 2.5m, you can do soooo much better for that amount of money) or even for $2m/slightly under 2 in that general area)

Yeah but you can't just throw up a piece of garbage and ask for 2.5M. To start, this is an undersized lot, even for that area. The outdoor space is even more paltry than the photos, guaranteed. The basement appears to be LVP and the kitchen and bathrooms are a mess. The first floor family room or main living area looks very awkward from the photos, but it's not staged, so it's hard to tell. Which brings me to my last point, why didnt they stage it?

There's a lot to complain about, but LVP in the basement is the right choice. You don't put real wood below grade.

In a luxury home the right choice is tile in the basement. Just my opinion. But since this house is awful LVP works here.

It doesn't look like a flip to me. Looks like a new build, though an ugly one.

It’s LVP in the entire house. No garage or even carport. Cheap tiles.

Is it really!!!! Why doesn't it all match then? Since it's a reno I presume they had to put all of the LVP in bc that's a more recent floor product.

Exactly, you can get some thing very nice for under 2m, or in this case 1.8mish in the N Arlington area. Not sure how out of touch that poster is
