Much bigger issue is the classroom-clearing kids protected by LRE. But we aren’t allowed to complain about them. |
Optics - that is precisely why Trump encouraged his allies to reject the bipartisan border bill - he didn't want Biden to get credit for any border legislation. That bill was spearheaded by James Lankford, one of the most conservative members of the Senate. |
+1 It was essentially the GOP’s dream bill that in 2021 they didn’t get from Democratic opposition. They got what they wanted and… crapped in the bathtub for Trump. |
Do you… do you not know how this works? They have to be processed before they can be returned. It’s like you guys don’t get anything at all. |
That is not what this administration does. They process. Then release them into the country. Our country. |
That was a GOP bill. What are you talking about. If it wouldn't help Biden, why did Trump want to kill it???? |
Because it was a bad bill. And, it wasn't a "GOP" bill. Sinema and Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla., and Chris Murphy, D-Conn., were the prime authors of the legislation. Senator Lankford and other Republicans conceded way too much to Democrats. And, it wasn't just Trump that didn't want it. Many Senators and Congress members spoke out against it before Trump did. |
If you aren’t aware of, for example, the red states suing to block the new Title IX rule because of trans issues then yes, you need new media sources. |
Say what now? This is a new. |
wHy dO yoU pErSIst in writing like this? It's juvenile. |
What’s lre? |
I was a dedicated Republican voter but it’s issues like these that have made me #walkaway from the Republican Party. |
Not if you have anything to do with education. Brats who scream and rip stuff off the walls, throw books and desks, and so on. Their rights (in the Least Restrictive Environment) are apparently more important than the normal 99% other kids, who are forced to accept this trauma because kindness and diversity. |
The issues are still there and quietly pushing independents and younger people away from the Democratic Party. We are just sitting back and watching the Democratic Party get eaten by the hate monster it has been nurturing for years… it’s terrible but it is not surprising at all. |
