What a strange question.

It might surprise you that chief lobbyist for making marijuana legal is John Boehner, the former Speaker of the House and a staunch Republican.

Put the bong down and think.

He is getting paid to make marijuana legal.
When he was in Congress he didn't support it.

All reported by local media, not my opinion. Check Maryland Matters for details.

What “permissive high driving laws”?

So tired of these posters who act as if there is an obvious MAGA solution to every problem. If we just voted for Robin Ficker every social ill would go away.

High driving is legal nowhere.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/in-era-of-legal-pot-can-police-still-search-cars-based-on-odor

Article says that Maryland is not even one of the states with permissive (to drivers) laws about searching cars. Maryland only prohibitis searching the body of the driver without probable cause for suspecting the driver is high.
The controversy is about pretexts for searching for evidence about other crimes, not for enforcing high driving laws.

What is MD’s laws regarding a passenger smoking?

Maryland needs to have a referendum on the ballot requiring drivers to be under the influence of weed. Merely legalizing it wasn’t enough. Too many people aren’t toking up. They need to be forced to get onboard.

Driving high is not a primary offense. Brought to you by your state legislature.

My test is my nose, and when some high idiot rear ended me at a red light and got out of his dad’s car to give me his scanty insurance information, my detecter went off the rails.

So yeah, weed makes for great driving.

This is just complete nonsense. DUI is DUI. Please cite the state law that supports your BS.
