Dress for work reception at resort

DP with no advice but a warning. One year at a work event I wore a dress and the pre dinner cocktail party was outside by the ocean and windy. I spent the hour trying to discreetly hold the dress down.

OP here. Thanks for the responses. Appreciate the thought on a breeze! The reception is on a patio and then inside.

The resort is on a lake and has a country club feel to it. I am looking at this dress. Maybe on the boring side, but I am ok with that.
