Best place to renew child's passport?

You can only use the emergency service if you are within 2 weeks of your flight departure.

Renewed recently in Bethesda - made an appointment in advance. To be safe, paid for expedited service (but not expedited shipping) and got the passport only 2 weeks later.

The Main DC post office on Brentwood Rd has always been great. If you walk in with all required paperwork they can get you in and out in no time.

We also used the MLK Library walk-in service -- they can also do the photo (for a fee). We went on a week-day afternoon after school and waited about 10 minutes. The website says they are open T/W/Th as well as Saturday.
