Anyone know why mark meadows has escaped indictments to date?

He was indicted in Arizona and in Georgia. There’s been a persistent rumor that he’s cooperating with the Feds.

Wow. The dominoes are starting to fall. Trump is really in a race against time. Can he keep the con going until November? It’s not looking good, but he is such a Teflon candidate that it’s hard to believe MAGA will see him for what he is.

I say this as a Democrat but what dominoes? I haven’t read the article but whatever is in it can’t possibly be worse than what we already know about Trump. There are plenty of voters who just don’t care what Trump did because if a Republican did it, it was fine.

Pp here. Meant that there was a certain impunity and lack of anyone being held accountable. Maybe it’s wishful thinking but beyond all of the cases against Trump, there’s the Georgia indictment (to which some folks pled guilty), Navarro went to prison, now the Arizona and Michigan indictments.

There is a lot of research about how people like to part of the crowd, stick with what their society thinks, and I wonder if the tide may be turning against Trump. He’s a lot of work to support and the economy is actually better so people are getting out more, getting exposed to more information and reality.

But. It may be wishful thinking and November is soon. Trump has kept up his political witch hunt hallucination effectively among MAGA.

I think there are a number of Republicans who think Trump did something mildly wrong, but only mildly wrong and they can overlook it. The truly batcrap MAGA people are dwindling (and Trump killed off a non-zero number with his insistence that covid was just a cold. Yeah, now, with vaccines and a much tamed virus, but it wasn’t back then!).

But I think a number of Republicans and Republicans who call themselves Independents as well as real center and moderate people will never vote Republican again. They’re just doing too much.
