If he's not a wiggler, bring him in bed with you, and definitely dose before bed.
We had one that we'd keep in the bassinett next to the bed or no one got a good night sleep, and one that was a great snuggler/sleeper in bed with us |

| Yes, I still bedshare with my kid to monitor a fever or cough/breathing I'm worried about and she is almost 7. As they get older it happens way less often, but it's the easiest way -- otherwise I have to get out of my own bed to go take a temp or listen for wheezing in the middle of the night. So for RSV, flu, or whooping cough, I sleep next to her. |
