Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra

It's extremely common these days, and very recognizable as the brand. Though there are so many fakes going around as well, people might not assume it's even the real brand. I find it really overdone these days, which is a shame because some of the pieces are quite nice!

I love Van Cleef and Arpels' artistic concepts, and I think they have the best naturalistic designs all of the major jewelers.

However, I will never buy or wear their daily wear items, because they're victims of their own popularity - everyone wears the cheap fakes, so there's really no point in wearing the real things that are 100 times more expensive.

I agree, that's why I wouldn't buy it. Aesthetically it's a pretty design but fell in the same trap as the Cartier love bracelets.

Cartier is a better investment

It has a resale value.

I prefer ETFs.

I’m not a troll, I have nothing against wearing logos, I understand why people like them. I simply prefer an un-branded look for myself, and that’s only for myself.

Yes. I rarely wear mine anymore for that reason.

I know very few brands, and am not attracted to high end stuff or logos, but even I recognize this shape. I see it a lot on social climbers and their daughters.

Screams VCA and lacks individuality.

You know when your 12 year old wants the fake version that this is pretty much devalued.

Exactly. I see these $40 earrings every summer. https://www.bluebeetlenantucket.com/cdn/shop/products/VGStudsandNecklaces_1_1024x1024.png?v=1604338560

It would not occur to me that OP is wearing the $10k necklace. For $10k, I'll take diamond studs.

My husband and children bought me the pendant for my birthday last year. I wear it often -- it's simple and easy and layers well. I get a lot of compliments on it. It wasn't something I had considered before but I enjoy it.

For me it is instantly recognizable, and I react to it pretty much as if it is a logo. And it is so duped, I’d probably assume it is fake depending on what else you wear.

.

Everyone already has those.

I have the 10 motif. Husband bought it for me over 15 years ago. I love it and love that it’s timeless. It doesn’t bother me in the least bit that people get knockoffs.

I like a single pendant rather than logo, logo, logo, but I like their clover.

I love the 10 motif size but they are so replicated I assume any that I see are fake. Which is too bad! I also can’t spend 10k on a necklace which is also too bad!

I have the small pendant so unless you’re up close it’s not noticeable, I love it. Never take it off.

Same as the others, I would assume it was fake so if you don't want to be showy, it might be a good option for you as no one would think you paid 10G for it.
