Theoretically yes an Ob can prescribe, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t feel comfortable because they don’t know enough about it. That’s why pushing to see any MFM at this point ASAP is key.

OP here, thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions, I really appreciate it. I called the MFM office that I am scheduled with every day this week and they couldn't get me in any earlier. I also called a couple of other offices, but they were booking out several weeks too. My OB just said to wait for the MFM when I followed up to see if they can do any further testing or put me on the Lovenox...she can't answer any questions, except to confirm that it's not an SCH, because there are multiple clots. I will start baby aspirin in the meantime, and I'm trying to keep hopeful.

Really hoping for you OP I’m sorry the waiting game can be so stressful and that no one will get you in is so frustrating.
