Do charters follow the same calendar as DCPS?

A charter school may not be for you. Each one operates differently and has the discretion to do things the way they want. You may prefer DCPS. (We do.)


I'm going to have one kid in DCPS and one kid in a charter next year and this part of that is super annoying. But while I do have a DCPS preference, I just cant be a purist anymore (middle school!)

Yeah I wish I had cared a little less. Other families did not let the school calendar stop them — it’s literally preschool!
