I hate biking and I hate bikers

Don’t do a cargo bike social. The body odor would be noxious.

There are protected bike lanes on Seminary Rd in Alexandria. They are never used so very accessible.

How about one to celebrate the OGR bike lanes and the seven people who use them everyday?

In terms of frequency:

1. Bike to swim
2. Bike to park
3. Bike to ice cream (not froyo!)

I have young kids and we bike to get around the neighborhood. I'd be less likely to do these things as part of a huge group event.

Not really surprised tho, given the narcissistic tendencies and bad judgment of people who choose to ride bicycles for transportation.

I used to live near a brewery on a bike trial. Tons of bikers stopped. Looked fun. I almost rented a Citi bike and joined in!

There is/was one in Vienna that backed up to the trail and had bike parking and access; but it was more of restsurant … kids meals, sandwiches, wings, soda. They had a patio and even dogs were hanging out.

“Bike to beer” seems like the point of destination is to drink. Do you are so of excluding families/kids and afterwards drunk bikers trying to leave. Could be concerning.

FWIW Vienna Whole Foods also has trail access… “bike to groceries”.
