What were the treatments? Was it something more than prescription ointments?

I’m not OP but my kid has terrible persistent face eczema, what was the protocol? We’ve tried protopic which I think caused a burning sensation so that didn’t go over well.

Dr Silverman on US 50 just outside the beltway in VA. He is both a Pediatrician and a Dermatologist. Specializes in little kids. His eczema fiz was non-prescription, topical application, and worked very very well.

PP here. It was prescription hydrocortisone twice a day, then once it was better enough pimecrolimus cream twice a day, with frequent moisturizer (aveeno unscented) as many times as possible in between. Now we do aveeno moisturizer in the morning and pimecrolimus at night and it keeps it in check.
