That poor family. Praying for them and their too-young angels. Just awful.

I think people are looking for any answers that may have lead to this tragedy. That is how some people react, they want answers.

Also, I would encourage people to give (GFM listed above), as there are now two unexpected burials. I don't know this family, or their financials, but that neighborhood is truly amazing.

The dad posted this today.

I have cried so many tears for these sweet angels but what a beautiful gift that these boys are going to save so many lives.

Brutal

“The boys and their 8-year-old brother, Logan, were in the care of their grandparents when the fire broke out.”

According to firefighters, when the boys were found, 6 year old Zachariah was covering and protecting 3 year old William

Why weren’t these children in school?!

So so sorry for those boys and their family.

They are donating their organs today and saving 14 lives between them. The whole thing is so sad but this is a bright spot in the whole thing. They will go on living thru others.

It was on Wednesday, April 10. FCPS were closed to observe Eid.

Seeing that the fire department came to the Honor Walk broke me. I hope that Fairfax County is providing them with the emotional support that they need, as I’m sure this has been extremely difficult for them too.

What a beautiful gift this family will give to so many other families…as tragic as this event is…I hope they find some measure of peace in knowing their sons saved lives.

I mean no disrespect, but do people typically cheer and yell during the honor walks? In other ones I’ve seen the people have been more somber/quietly paying respects versus calling out names and chanting. It sounds like the family really appreciated it so that’s what matters but I was curious.

I thought the same thing. The family appears to draw strength from the community’s support. So sorry for their loss. Poor siblings
