Pregnancy after IVF, infertility, or loss …are you happy?

I think this really depends if you had trouble getting pregnant or trouble staying pregnant. I was of the former and could mostly enjoy my pregnancies once they did happen. My mom just has a horrendous time getting pregnant but no issues staying pregnant. For women who have miscarriages, I imagine it a lot harder to enjoy the pregnancies.

I did ok during pregnancy, for the most part. But I got hit with horrendous PPA after she was born. I was so convinced that something would happen, and we wouldn't get to keep her. I waited too long to seek out help (was 8 months pp before I ever got in to see a therapist), but I was told that it is common for women who deal with infertility to end up having anxiety issues after delivery.
We had a loss (ectopic) between our 2 successful pregnancies, and I will say I was far more cautious and aware of ALL the things that can go wrong during pregnancy the 2nd time around. But I had better coping mechanisms for PPA that time.
