You’re missing out on a whole wide world of cooking adventure, but at least you have your smugness to keep you warm. |
The GIR skinny ladle is so great for filling thermos containers. It's flexible and just the right size for the job.

I buy the squeezy tubes which are even easier in a pinch. Wegman's has store brand ones. I usually have garlic and ginger fresh, but I like the dill, cilantro, parsley because those are hard to have fresh. And when they get low, I CUT THEM OPEN and yes, use a teeny spatula! |
I loooove my rolling garlic mincer. Total life changer.

Immersion blender (soups!), and a ginger grater. I use fresh ginger in many recipes, and this ceramic grater makes it super easy |
I disagree that I am missing out. I cook dishes from around the world, and they all turn out great. And yes, I am proud of my cooking skills. No fancy nonsense, just good old-fashioned cooking. |
Immersion blender! |
Wanted to add, I don’t consider good knives gadgets, I consider them necessities. |
All you garlic pressers, switch to leeks, much easier |

LOL! And she send her guests out to the porch to eat their whole fruit too! I hope her warm smugness extends to the front porch. Poor guests. |
Is it a Delicious Piece of Fruit? |
Once the guests get to the porch, I assume they take the opportunity to escape and run home! |

Not a fancy gadget, but I use a small mesh strainer every day. I've been to so many AirBnb's that don't have one. Mine has a plastic handle and flat bottom, which is easier to use than the ones with a curved bottom. |
