So reporting directly from the Tyson’s Corner Mall. We tried both Coastal Flats and Season’s 52 - they had a 70 minute and two hour wait respectively.
So we ended up at La Sandia. It’s good! Very nice atmosphere, excellent service, and the food is honestly pretty good. We’re all happy. |
This thread makes me feel ancient. When I was little we would eat at the soda fountain at People’s or Woolworth’s when we went to Tysons. Now there’s sushi on a conveyor belt. |
Falafel, Panda and the Indian place are good. Wasabi is fun for kids, Nordstrom Cafe when dining with parents. |
I like the Bento Box place in the food court on the movie theater level. |
Earl’s or Nordstrom |
It’s a new buzzword. I hear all the time now suddenly. |
Is Nordstrom Cafe open again? I tried to go in Feb and it was closed. |
Are you 80? |
Sushi on a conveyor belt has been there for at least a decade. |
Wasabi opened at TCC in 2009 |
Yes, it reopened. Underwent a makeover but in same spot. If you want fast casual, I recommend Maman Joon and Cha Street Food tucked back behind the Lucid store. |
lol you are dining at a mall..what do you expect?!!! |
NP…. For what it is worth, there is a footpath on the bridge from Tysons I over 123 from which you could access the 495-Hot Lanes. That bridge will easily allow you to walk to Agora. I don’t mind any walk less than about 1.2/1.5 miles but YMMV. Also if driving to Tysons is an option, driving to Agora is an option. Food is quite good. But if I were driving to Tysons generally and wasn’t mall limited, I’d pick Nostos. |
