I watched the first third or so. I didn’t like that Emma Stone’s character started having sex when her speech and body movements seemed like that of a child or someone with significant developmental disabilities. |
Frankenstein meets Pygmalion is what all the reviews say. |
Agree - that was disturbing. I kept wondering what was Emma Stone thinking when she agreed to this movie?? |
The movie looks weird. Emma Stone looks weird. Pass. |
That honestly seems really messed up and I’m disappointed a film like that won the Golden Globe over Barbie. |
+1. It was really disturbing. |
+1 It’s comments like that that kept me from watching the movie. I think that’s really disgusting. |
I loved it. It’s beautiful and quirky. Definitely raunchy - did not mind. It made sine good points about identity, free will, misogyny, self awareness/actualization. Some of it was silly. Worth a watch for sure. |
She caught up. The post disillusionment scenes were great. Did you finish the movie? |
Sorry PP but "raunchy" is not the right word for this movie. It was gratuitous after a point and anyone with two eyes would realize that. |
It’s crazy how different (bad) she looks without makeup. Almost as bad as Katy Perry |
Did you watch the whole thing? Your opinion seems very limited and kind of the point of the movie. |
Hi, Duncan. |
I love this movie! So different. Also, Mark Ruffalo was awesome. |
+1 I somehow didn't realize he was going to be in it, and really enjoyed him in it. |
