11th grade too late to start lacrosse?

It's not too late. Not this year, or if he didn't try yet, next year either. Without knowing anything else about your son or the program, lacrosse is a tremendous sport and if he's
already considered it, could be a sport for him to play for decades.

Ignore all the naysayer advice above. Started late and accomplished more than any of those above. By miles.

That won't happen for most, but there's a real chance he could have a connecting sport for a long time.
