Acura RDX - A Good Family Car?

Not OP, but since all kids will be out of the house in 2 years I don't picture many family vacations in the future.

I am the pp - if you are doing a family of 4 trip to the beach maybe, if you do not pack too much.

My brother can afford any car under the sun. And he has owned a number of them, including ridiculously over-priced Mercedes and BMW's. An empty nester, he just bought an A spec RDX and is very pleased with it. It is indeed 60k so not cheap, and not many buyer are as price insensitive as my brother.

RDX is small. Decent if you are looking for trunk space but it’s not an SUV for transporting bigger items. Cute care but too tiny.

The engines are very different. Significantly better fuel economy in the CRV.

I hate ours. The back seat and truck are small. The touch pad thing to operate music/gps is the worst.

I like ours. I would never consider it small. It drives well and does the job.
