What happened to the Russell Stover marshmallow eggs?

Whatever happened to those large chocolate covered fluffy mint cream eggs Russell Stover used to sell? I never see those anymore.

The eggs always tasted gross OP. Be glad that you don’t want to eat them anymore.

The marshmallow eggs are half the size, as were the marshmallow bells at Christmas time. They are also twice as expensive as they were 2-3 years ago. I am very disappointed, as I look forward to them every year at Christmas and Easter. Just return them to the regular size they once were, and charge more. No one is being fooled, and the full size it much more satisfying to eat.

They taste terrible

Thank you, OP, I have never met another adult who admitted to loving them. I, too, love them. Hershey used to make marshmallow eggs. They had purple wrapping and sat next to the Almond Joy and Reeses designed to look like eggs. Unfortunately Hershey marshmallow eggs are gone too.

The world (and most of this board) just doesn't understand.

Are the same person who likes to wash her dinner down with something delicious and not water?

I mean I expect candy to be full of sugar (if not fat; fruity candies usually aren’t fatty) but it does seem like regular candy has lost much of its quality, especially in the last five years. So much cost cutting.

I remember the Snickers bar of my childhood having full, actual peanuts; the last time I got one at a store the peanuts were chopped small enough that they’d lost their peanut essence.

Different marshmallow vibe but not degraded in quality: find you some Valomilks, OP.

I am still made at Russell Stover for changing the coconut nest recipe and also removing the jelly beans. And I haven't even been able to find them this year in the stores

I would buy boxes of the marshmallow eggs for all my kids and grandkids. Just like my mother did. It was a tradition. But no longer will I buy them. Each year prices went up but I still bought them
Last year was the last. Disappointed me. Not the same, small in size, egg carton different and they didn’t taste as good.
Refuse to purchase them anymore.
What happened to those yummy chocolate marshmallow eggs????

They now have too thick of a layer of chocolate and not enough marshmallow to compliment each other. So disappointed and won't be buying more this Easter

Yes I just received 4 boxes from Amazon and I cannot believe it. So sad they had to ruin my once a year favorite Easter candy. The so called eggs don’t even look like eggs. I am so disappointed.
