My DS is really tall, but so are his father & I (6'3" & 5'10"). He is 4y 6m and he is 45.5 inches and 44.5lbs. He's just about grown out of his 5 pants and has worn some 6 slim.

I have twin 4y olds:
40" and 33lbs 41" and 40lbs |
my son is will be turnning 3 in two months, he is 41 inches tall and 46lbs. |
My 2.5 year old is 39 inches tall and 35lbs. |
My son is also 44.5 inches (at his 4 year old checkup) and weighs 44 lbs. EVERYWHERE we go people comment on how tall he is. |
my almost 6 year old is 43" and 44 lbs....he's deinitely on the small end. |

Just be careful when the children are tall because they will get the same insecurities and confidence problems that the shorter kids in the class have. I constantly reassure my two boys that there is nothing wrong with being tall. The other kids in daycare have picked on them for their size and they can feel all the pressures that smaller kids feel about their size. My four year old is 50" tall and 62lbs. and his little brother who turned 3 a couple of months ago is 45" and 50 lbs. |

My DS is around the same age but only 37 lbs. Your kid sounds tall (and a bit on the heavy side). |
