Excellent pediatric dentist! Dr. Alan Kuwabara

Just wanted to put a shout-out for an excellent pediatric dentist we have found. Dr. Alan Kuwbara (202-244-6111; 5028 Wisconsin Ave NW #200, WDC 20016; 2 blocks from Friendship Heights metro). He is a great ped dentist, has a super office that is very appealing to kids (aquarium murals, flat screen displays in dental chairs with aquarium scenes), and takes most dental insurances. He is great with kids - we made it thru an appt with no tears! We highly recommend him.

Holy cow, I went to Dr Kuwabara in Rockville when I was a kid (I'm now 39)!! Is he not retired yet? Of course I had no concept of how old he was at the time.

I do remember that I liked going to the dentist! He was great!

I really like Dr. K too (the younger) but I think he needs a much better waiting area.
The good thing is we haven't had to wait much but more books or toys or even a video game would
make my son much more eager to go there.
He is fantastic withhte kids though and I love that he gives us so much personal attention.
