Barry's Magic Shop, Ltd.
5544 Nicholson Lane Rockville, MD 20852 301. 933. 0373 Barry was awesome for a 5 year old party. He will come to you or they have a great stage at their shop. |

I'll second the recommendation for Barry Wood of Woodfield Magic.
We've also been to a party with Louis of Child Time Magic who was also very good. |
| Can someone tell me how much Barry Wood charges for a party? I can't find any price info on his website and wanted to see if he was in my price range before I call. I can spend up to $300. |
| Turley the Magician. |

I have had Barry Wood & Turley ... but my favorite, because he really gets the kids ENTERTAINED, is Pirate Magic
http://www.piratemagic.net/ He will make sure EVERY child is mesmorized, entertained, and worn out by the end. No triple booking with this entertainer - just a fabulous guy. We tried the others (and even more) but Pirate Magic was the best. |
Tell the truth, you ARE Pirate Magic aren't you? |
| Barry Wood should be in your price range. He had a couple of different packages which I can't remember but I do remember our total was $300. It included some goody bags as well and he showed the kids how to do a couple of magic tricks. He also made balloon animals at the end. |
| 00:31 here - I am NOT Pirate Magic, though there isn't any way to prove it to you, even if I cared to - if someone wants to try him out, they will find out for themselves. |
| Barry Wood of Woodfield Magic was $300 when we used him several years ago. This included the goodie bags and balloon animals. |

Noland of Noland's magic. He has appeared at our church for the last few years and he is terrific. He's in your price range.

| We had the Great Zucchini at a party for 4-to-7 year olds last year, and they all loved him! If you haven't seen him, be aware that there's more slapstick than magic in his show, but the kids find it sidesplitting. |
| The Great Zucchini is popular. That means he is able to book several slots on any given weekend day. I was totally turned off when I went to a kid's birthday party, got there a few minutes before the show, and heard him talking about how he had to rush over from another show that morning and had to leave promptly at a set time for his next gig. There wasn't much of a "special" feeling to that, which did not start the show off well for me. |
