Merritt Academy Summer Camp -A MUST-STAY-AWAY!!

The Director is frighteningly disorganized - she called to let us know that our kid was on the way home, when he was not even at camp that day! They are expensive but not at all worth the grief and stress - I enrolled my son there for the summer and experienced tons of bad communications among the staff and between staff and parents -- I would never trust my kid with them again! The accountant can't do her math -- she had to revise our bills time and time again after I pointed out the mistakes to her several times. The counselors are just a bunch of teenagers they send on field trips to look after the kids. My kid nearly drowned in one of the waterpark field trips because her counselor was busy yapping. Never coming back to this camp ever again and would never recommend to anyone who is NOT willing to risk their kids' safety. MERRITT ACADEMY -- A MUST-STAY AWAY. I would recommend Summer on the Hill (at Flint Hill School) for the same price but much better experience, more peace of mind - more exciting and well-organized.
