OP here: lol I actually did none of that, that was PP's who posted personal info. And no, he hasn't "scrubbed his internet presence" as he's still on FB.

You posted the uncle's full last name and first initial. And your "BF"s town, etc. For heaven's sake, take some responsibility.

I don't think OP expected us to take our sleuthing as far as we did, or put all the pieces together. Seeing the big picture is not her forte (no offense OP, but at least in this case it's true).

OK, I just skimmed a few pages and here's the synopsis I gathered - BF supposedly went on a hunting trip in Maine on Friday with his uncle, expected to return Sunday, but by Monday nite never called OP.

She called the local sheriff, no response. Tried calling the uncle, he won't pick up. BF's phone goes straight to VM. I think they met on a dating site okcupid btw. OP doesnt have the # to the farms where her BF works. The humdinger is that the uncle's FB page shows he clearly never went hunting in Maine, so the Maine alibi was apparently false.

OP - did your BF take all of his stuff from your place when he left? Because it sounds like this was his way to end the relationship, like he was too shy or cold-hearted to confront you and end it like a man. I'm sorry. F him. One day, as if by accident, you will meet the man meant for you, and you will look back on Steve or whatever his name is with disgust and embarassment, maybe a laugh.

DCUMers, how the hell do I go to page 63 (any specific page number) whthout having to go page by page!?! I'm on an iPhone and it is nearly impossible to get to where I left off bc I have to go back a page, go back a page, go back a page, etc.! I feel like I'm missing out on a lot!
