What age for Baby Jogger City Mini?

Hi! I see there are a lot of parents in DC with the Baby Jogger City Mini, so perhaps someone will be able to assist. Do you know at what age a baby can ride in the stroller? Our car seat is not compatible, so I would be looking to put an infant insert in for head support for our 9 week old baby. Thanks for your advice...

Since the seat reclines, I think you can use it from day one. That said, even with the head support thing (I think it was JJ Cole or Snugglepotomous or something like that), we waited until just about three months. The straps are pretty big and it might be tough to get a close fit on a newborn. Plus, the soft back made me feel like maybe he'd move around in it a lot.

We started using ours when DD was about your DC's age, maybe a week or so before. But, it was winter, so she was well bundled, which helped with the fit of the straps that PP mentioned. I think if you can ensure she's in there securely, it would be fine.

They tell you 6 mos (even fully reclined) because there is no head support, but we too put in a kiddopotamus head support and started using around 3 mos because DS hated his car seat.

Got the City Mini when #1 was ~7 months old. Started using it with #2 at 1 week. Admittedly the straps weren't super tight, but with it in the full recline and an immobile baby, I'm not really concerned about that. I mean, I think it's sufficient to keep the baby from sliding out, but this is also my stroller and not a car seat - I don't anticipate using it in a way that the baby could get thrown out anyway. And it's worked just fine for us.

12:35 again - we also used a kiddopotamus snuggler to make it more comfortable, but honestly the head support doesn't really make much sense to me. I mean, it's not like there is head support in a stroller using a bassinet, and that's practically what this is in the full recline.
