Need great pediatric dentist for 2.6 y/o with cavities

Anonymous
Ughhh - our dc has visible cavities in the molars (and, yes, we have brushed dc's teeth twice a day since they came in - seems to be genetic, since I too had horrible problems with cavities...).

So, we need some referrals for great pediatric dentists who work with children this young.

We live in Mt. Pleasant, so anywhere in NW or in Montgomery County would be best.

Thanks so much for any help!

Thanks to the pp - anyone else out there with referral or experience having a 2-3 y/o who needed fillings?

Dr. Dana Greenwald in Friendship Hts. She is THE BEST!! My 3.5 yo loves going to the denstist. The office is so kid friendly and really gets them comfortable with cleanings, x-rays etc. WE haven't done fillings, but have been there for emergency visits and they could not have been nicer and done more to make DD at ease.

We did her first dentist visit the same day as her first ballet recital. I thought the dentist was more fun!

OP here. Thanks so much for the recommendations.

I will check them both out and continue to welcome any more referrals.

We bring DS to Dr. Broring, in both Bethesda and near AU. We haven't had any experience with cavities but my boss has brought his 3 kids to Dr. Broring for years and they are very happy with him.

I definitely like the way he interacts with my 2.5 y.o. son. Sorry you have to go through this so early.

I second the recommendation for Dr. Danny Bui in Bethesda. He's taken care of my DD's teeth since they came in. For an added bonus, he's environmentally friendly and uses BPA-free fillings. He's great with kids.

Has anyone heard anything about Dr. Ronald Starr or Michael Etessami? My kids used to go to Alalouf and now we are in search of a local dentist on our carefirst PPO denatl plan.
