Cord Blood Registry (CBR) Coupon?

Anonymous
I saw a prior posting about $250 coupons for CBR. Does anyone know how I can get one of these coupons -- do you get them from CBR or your OB? Thanks in advance for any tips!

I got a coupon from my Bradley instructor. My guess is OBs and midwives have them as well.

If you send me your name & email address I can have you set up with a $250 coupon on your account. You would talk directly with my account rep at CBR (Angela Torres). She is great! Very helpful and informative.

We banked our first child's cord blood 2 years ago and plan to bank #2 due in March.

You can email me at ajwedding@graffiti.net

Sincerely,
Jessica

I also used CBR for my first-born and plan to use them again when I deliver in June. If anyone needs a coupon let me know, I get them all the time in the mail and on-line. I also get 1 year free storage if you use my name as a referral! Feel free to email me at laura.44@verizon.net

I just visited the website (not op) and didn't find any information about the costs...can anyone here inform me of the costs involving that? I would prefer not get the initial information from them because I am pretty sure they will keep sending me stuff and calling, even if I decide not to storage.

The website price is 2150. They give you $155 off, and your package price will still be $1995.
Use coupon code M9999 when you enroll online or call, and you get the total package price of $1900, which includes collection kit, shipping fee, and first-year storage.

In my experience, CBR is pretty generous about their discounts and their referrals, so you should always try to use both if you can.

But, in my experience at least, you don't have to work too hard to get the $250 or $155 discount. If you call CBR directly and let them know that you are aware of the $250 discount out there, they will honor it, at least they did for me. So there is no reason you HAVE to use an anonymous person's code just to get the discount.

Having said that, the referral program is a good one, and if you are going to sign up I recommend that you first find out if any of your friends or family or acquaintances (or DCUM members) have used CBR and can serve as your referral -- because someone might as well get the $125, even if it is just a friendly person on this board and not a close friend.

Why don't you give out your code so that you can get the referral. Come on, don't be shy. That's what you wanted anyway.
