Not at the game, but had to be the coaching, then. Visitation coach must have had a great defensive scheme. Congrats to him. |
Honestly I was a bit surprised by SR offense yesterday. They had plenty of chances actually, including a few long possessions that ended in dropped passes or saves. Not impressed by their younger attacks. SR may not continue as a powerhouse after the 24 class. |
I think SR will continue to be good. They have a dominant JV team as well |
Not to take anything away from Visi (who put in a great performance), but it sounds like it was an off day for SR. |
Yes a very off day for SR that's why they lost next please |
How does Visi’s future look for that matter? |
Also very good if I am not mistaken |
Negative |
I don't think that poster was referring to girls feeling strong and successful. I think the reference was to the fact that SR likes to run up the score on weaker teams when they don't need to whereas many other good teams win with class. In hoping that all of these girls will go on to have successful lives the first hope is that they learn how to treat others. Thats how I read it anyways. |
Or SR actually isn’t that good and Visi beat them and they are salty. next please |
Visi jv beat sr jv yesterday. Both teams are excellent. Both teams have underclassmen on varsity. Both have every chance of being good for a while |
I take your point, but this is just not how we talk about male athletes at the same level. Girls are always encouraged to not win by too much, not be too dominant, not congratulate themselves for their success. This is not a comment on SR but just a general comment on how people on this board talk about strong girls who have any confidence, they all need to humble themselves. Why is that? |
There’s a very similar conversation on the boys private thread with multiple people appreciating Landon for not running up the score on teams |
GC v SJC score? |
Time will tell. |
