The sideboard in our dining room (cheap, from Wayfair but solid wood and I loved it!) broke yesterday after 5 years. Legs broke clean off.
We need a new one fast as we have guests coming in less than 3 weeks. I found one I like on West Elm but it won’t come until mid-June. We are looking for MCM-like style and that price point (<$3k). Any ideas? Reluctant to go to Wayfair again due to quality. |

Bob’s or an antique store. I personally never mind way are because it’s cheap and fast so I don’t feel bad replacing and it’s fun having something new every couple of years. |
Some WestElm items come very quickly

Yes, but only if it's in stock. If it says mid-June, it won't be early, and likely will be late. West Elm / Pottery Barn are notoriously bad about this. If you want to give Wayfair another shot, you can search on materials - e.g. for solid wood instead of particleboard. I've found higher quality items that way. I'd go C&B or something first though. |

Vintage shops. The new stuff is poor quality.
I have Mom's from 1959. It looks great. |
