We'll be going to Boston a couple times a year now that my parents have re-located. Based on location, immediate area, etc., do you have a favorite Marriott to stay? The only ones we've tried are at Copely Square - and it's a great location, just looking for some suggestions for variety. |
We used to really like the Rowes Wharf Marriott (could take a water taxi right there from the airport) but it’s been years since I’ve stayed there. |
there are yelp reviews for ten Marriotts in that area (including Cambridge). i would start there and google reviews, not here |
The Liberty is fun. Copley location can't be beat and our favorite there is the Westin. The waterfront area is also really nice - suggest the envoy there |
We enjoyed the Courtyard Boston Downtown/North Station. We chose it to be with easy walking distance of TD Garden and were very happy with it. |
+1 We've tried a bunch of different hotels over the years and Westin at Copley is still the top one. |
My family loves the Custom House. The location may not be ideal, but it is a Marriott property, and my kids think it's the fanciest place ever. |
The Westin Copley is my h’s favorite
Sometimes I want a more quiet visit and stay in the Courtyard Brookline I stayed at Element once and enjoyed the location and free bikes for adventure. I was visiting someone living in Southfield and it was a good location for that |
We travel to Boston frequently as we have family there, we always pick different locations and usually stay in the location that has the best rates. Most recently I stayed at the W which I enjoyed. The Renaissance Boston Waterfront was nice, and they usually upgrade us. I appreciate the hotels that upgrade without even asking. Boston has great public transportation and is walk-able. |
+1 for the Westin Copley, especially if you get a room with a great view |
Agree with this. The Liberty is fun but we love the Westin Copley, especially the rooms with a view. |
