Basketball summer camps and training for middle school boy

I have a middle school son trying to get better at basketball. He tried out and did not make travel or AAU. Compared to other kids, he may be considered a beginner as he started playing basketball at age 11. He has played many other sports competitively since a young age. He attended some basketball summer camps last year but they seemed more geared towards younger kids.
We live in NOVA but willing to travel to MD or DC. He will be 13 this summer. |

Try to Wooten overnight camp.
It tends to skew older and be for serious hoopers. |

For higher level training, try the private/Catholic high school basketball camps... Gonzaga, St Johns, St. Paul VI. The public high school camps also good... Tony Bentley (Arlington), Woodson. |
