Don’t most houses sell in “a weekend?”

I’m not being snarky, I would guess it’s 70% or something. If the house is in the second week, it’s either an unusual house (eg very top price range or half built) or something is wrong.

that's a good price to get into that neighborhood. the house isn't amazing, but it's totally functional for a family of four and doesn't look like it needs that much work at all.

You know you're in the DC burbs when folks think a house like this is "cute." Housing stock is so ugly here. Doesn't take much for people to think it has some "charm."

It has charming curb appeal, lovely interior details, great wood floors, and a decent amount of space, move in ready, definitely not a cheezy bling bling flip for the ignorant, and in a popular neighborhood. Of course it sold!

Most well priced houses in good neighborhoods with good schools sell in a weekend. Why is that shocking?
